I don't know why but - Update below
this really ticked me off.
DH and I are sitting on the couch just chillin/talkin. I'm on the laptop he's watchin tv.
His phone rings...and it's his friend who actually happens to be really sick. Dr's thought it was testicular cancer which thank gosh it isn't they just don't know what it is.
And DH goes "Should I answer it?" and shakes his head no.
First of all, this guy has been bed ridden for over 2 weeks. Why would you not answer unless you are going to discuss something you don't want me to hear?????
So I said go ahead an answer it. So he did, got up, and went outside. What the heck?

Maybe he feels weird that he may get emotional in front of you?
Or maybe cuz the tv was on?
I know my DH leaves the room when the tv is on cuz he can't multi-task, so if it's important he has to go into another room.

Personally, I cannot hold a normal telephone conversation with someone if I have someone in the room with me, so my first reaction is that it isn't weird that he left. But obviously, that's not the norm for you guys, so I can see why you'd think it's strange. Maybe he thought his friend might appreciate the privacy?

Well......as for the getting up & not talking in front of you...........since his friend thought he had testicular cancer & still doesn't know what it is..............maybe DH was embarrased to discuss his friends "genital area" problems in front of you?
As for the friend now being there? Hum........inquring minds want to know! Keep us updated!

Well, he's still here....
Apparently he is getting results of a scan tomorrow.
He said he was feeling better today and decided to stop by to get out for a bit.
He seems to be in good spirits.
But boy has this been a strange evening.

sometimes.......there is just no reason for how strange, odd, weird, and confusing men can be. I wouldn't worry...if my friend was going through something like that ( say poss breast cancer)I wouldn't talk about it in front of my dh. That is an awfully sensative thing to discuss. He more then likely didn't answer because let's face it....most guys don't want to talk about being sick or there bathing suite covered parts I would relax and kinda let it slide...guys can be funny about stuff like this and if he REALLY didn't want you te hear he could have left the house all together. But the curious side of me wants to know more so keep us posted on this and how his friends doing
