TMI-Discharge

Hi Ladies,

I had my amnio and for the last few days I feel very wet. I know that discharge in the second trimester is very common, but I also know that a side effect of the amnio is leaking fluid. I went in the other day for a sono to check for fluid levels and they said everything looks good.

Here is the TMI part- yesterday and today my underware is totally wet and it even went through my pants with a big wet spot. Did anyone experience this?

I have definately had days where there is a lot of discharge or wetness. I often get concerned regarding leaking fluid b/c it just seems like too much.

My doctor has always reassured me that the fluid is discharge. You should definately check with your doctor if its borthering you...

If you just had the amnio, then I would say you should definately call your doctor about this. After my amnio that is one of the things my doctor told me to call about.

Definitely call your doctor to rule out amnio fluid leakage. Amnio fluid is supposed to have no odor, whereas other discharge usually has some odor, but call your doctor either way.

It may be just discharge, but better to be on the safe side.

I've had discharge that has soaked my underwear but never has it left a wet spot on my pants. I would call you doctor.
