How do you clean your pots?
I made a VERY spicy Mexi-Mac last night and I guess there was still a residue left? When I made my eggs this morning, they had a kick to them, luckily I like spicy food!
How do you get the residue out of your pans? (they are Teflon)

Something sticky like that I let them soak overnight. If that does not work a can of coke, if you pour a can of coke in the pan and let it sit it will remove everything. So nasty but it works.

Coke or pepsi works, and so does seltzer. I pour some seltzer over them while they're still warm. That helps a lot. I will, for the sake of being thorough, say that my DH hates when I do this. As an engineer, he objects to me pouring something cold on hot metal. However, our pots and pans have not suffered any damage -- and neither have my mother's. (She's been doing this for years with no problems!)
