If it was a debate, that's a different issue. I think once you get into looks & milkshakes, it's gone downhill.

It's mostly on this board though.
Because we all get sarcastic and that's when it turns ugly.

I've had great "debates" on the pg board that are very "clean".

I agree... there is such a thing as locking a thread... I think LIF forgot about that feature Chat Icon

They could have left it available as reference for the next dog-in-a-store debate - that way we'd just post the link and say BTDT. Chat Icon

Oh yeah, I definitely agree that it got out of hand...it is just sad that as adults we cannot debate without getting nasty...

This is also true for the parenting, we do not have huge debates like this, well we have debates but they USUALLY do not get "dirty"
