Does Anyone Work In A Pharmacy?
My son's doc. prescribed him Adderall XR 12.5 mg, up from 10mg. Okay, so get off the phone with him and look it up online and it only comes in 10 or 15mg. I call doctor back. He double checks with the pharmacy next door to the office (a small independent) and the pharmacist says it does come in 12.5 and it's new and has to be ordered. Okay but I don't live near there and don't want to trek over there. So I go to Target and call Walgreens. Both have never heard of it. It's not on the Adderall XR site either. Anyone know for sure if this is a new strength? I'm inclined to believe that the doctor and the pharmacist are both confusing the XR with the non XR.

I am not a pharmacist, but I myself am on Adderall, and I have had SOOO many issues getting it filled. Either the pharmacy doesn't have it, insurance issues or even my doctor writing the wrong dosage. Sorry you have to deal with this, I know what a PITA it can be.
