Feeling Down
I've been feeling pretty depressed lately. Feeling totally over-whelmed, want to give up on this whole TTC thing. Well leaving work last night (I'm in Child-care) one of the little girls said Miss Dena, I love when you take care of me, and I love you.. Well the whole way home I cried. I guess realizing that my husband and I might never have a child. The metformin is not working. I feel like a complete failure, not only to myself but to my husband. I know he wants a baby. On the way home, I kept asking God,why is it so hard, and why are we all going through this.. I haven't gotten the HSG done yet, waiting on my insurance to fix some things. Which is taking forever. When I got home last night, my husband could tell something was wrong.. So we sat down and talked.. and just held me. and told me he loved me no matter what. Which made me feel better, but still doesn't change how I feel. Sorry for the vent! it's been getting to me lately! thanks ladies

Re: Feeling Down
I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. I myself had the same "why me" discussion with DH last night. It seems to be a trend for me... a day or two before ovulation and before IUI brings out the mess of emotions in me.

I'm sorry...I know the feeling all too well. Do you have a plan going forward since the Met isn't working?

I honestly don't know how much more I can take! I want this more than anything, but then again, why does it have to be this way?? All of us going through all this stuff, but meanwhile there are little 15 yr olds that get pregnant so easy! i just don't get it

Re: Feeling Down
I know the feeling and have gone through it many times. The only thing you can do is cry and feel sorry for yourself for a while and then pick up and continue on trying to figure out how to resolve the problem.

Re: Feeling Down
Sorry to hear you're feeling down. Not that it will make you feel any better but we've all been there. I have days where I just want to cry and I too feel like a failure. It's especially hard because I am a Kindergarten teacher so I'm around kids all day.........that aren't mine and it upsets me a lot!! It is frustrating, it's hard to not get what you really want in life. And you're right, getting pregnant is SO easy for some but we can only do our best and it seems like you're trying your hardest and doing everything right. I know it's hard but try and stay positive, your time will come one day too!! I hope that you feel better. Lots of baby dust to you.

Re: Feeling Down
I'm right there with you. We can have a joint pity party!
It sucks. There is nothing I can say. We will never understand why things happen the way they do. I just try to trust that God has a path for me and that I just haven't figured out what it is yet.

Re: Feeling Down
Thank you all again! I still feel down and I'm trying to deal with it. Last night my husband and I rescued 9 puppies.. we were sitting outside with them, and they all climbed into my lap and fell asleep.. I said to my husband "I can't have a baby, but at least I can take care of puppies.. and I started bawling! I know, pathetic, right? My husband keeps saying we will get pregnant.. It's just so hard! I must be really pitiful to cry over taking care of puppies! LOL!
