Don't think about it.... just watch and laugh, or fast forward over it.... 
It's kind of like when a toddler tells a joke. It usually makes no sense, but you just laugh anyway, just to make them feel good.

I know, I thought of that after the fact as well. He shouldn't be seeing them if he's not sleeping, anyway. But I guess they stopped by because he wasn't dreaming about them
