Causing a Commotion (Angelina )
Poor little Maddox can’t have a normal life!
The tiny tot recently began school at the Lycee Francais in NYC and it seems like some of the parents have gotten out of control.
The Lycee’s director of operations, Dan Cooke, sent out a letter to the parents of all the students, admonishing them for their Brangelina fever.
It read:
“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt,” read the document, according to a source who shared it with the Transom over the phone. “I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.
Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition,” the source quoted with some glee. “Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”
We can’t say we blame them, though. Parents are only human.
And everybody wants a little piece of Brange!

How terrible that the parents of the other children can't even respect their privacy. Maybe brangelina should send the kids to public school? Isn't that what Mia Farrow did?

ITA! but maybe the parents will all get over it after a few more weeks.
it seems like they're just trying to give the kids some sense of normalcy with school and actually picking them up themselves and not sending a nanny or a body guard to do it. they probably will never achieve this because of their celeb status but the parents should try to sympathize. i mean this is a pretty well off school so i would think the other parents are socialites and are well off also. you wouldnt expect rich people to act like teenagers, lol....but i guess brad has that effect on people!

Re: Causing a Commotion (Angelina )
like another poster said, I admire them for bringing their kids to school themselves. I'm sure the attendance will be 100% for parent/teacher night.

I went to a school with a lot of celebrity kids.... It causes a commotion initially, and after a while, everything calms down, and after a while, no one evn notices anymore....
