Migraines....
I had the WORST Migraine last night!! I started with seeing a light flashing inmy right eye. Then I went to bed and felt like someone was hitting me with a hammer!! Does anyone get these? What do you do? My DH called the Dr and they said take more tylenol(which made 4 in three hours) and drink lots of caffeine. Does anyone get these?? What do you do?

I actually had the same thing twice. Once when i was 5 months and just a couple of weeks ago when i was 7 1/2 months. They are horrible. The doctor told me it is common to get them when your pregnant and sometimes after. I hope you get lucky and this is your only one.

I am a migraine sufferer from before and was on meds everyday. My doc told me to take excedrin migraine and that helped because nothing else did. If they continue I would talk to your dr about it.

Thanks...what did you do for them??
I just waited them out. I tried tylenol but that did nothing. Coke can make you feel a little better. I guess it's the caffeine.

Take the tylenol as soon as you have the visual disturbance, don't wait for the headache.
Unfortunately there isn't that much else you can do.
I just push through and let my toddler watch some extra TV.

I suffer from them also and they are worse now then before I was pregnant. I am talking hurting even when I am excruciating pain even if I am laying on a nice soft pillow!
My Dr. told me its from the change in hormones and that caffeine usually does the trick or at least makes them more mild (it definitely helps)!!!

I get them but not to often thankGod! They are annoying and hurt, and I hate that eye thing that happends, its almost like to can't see on one side.
