opinions needed
So I still need to make the window treatments for my craft room. I'm thinking of just making one staight curtain panel with a top pocket for the rod for each window & Then I can pull them back to the side. The thing is with the shelves so close the the window I'm not sure I'll be able to pull them back all the way. What do you think? here's the link with the pics
craft room
Also I want to paint the letters "create", but I'm drawing a blank on what color they should be, any suggestions?

Re: opinions needed
I think a roman shade might be better if that is something you can make. As far as the letters. My first thought was red until I scrolled down to see the fabric color. I think a rust color would look great.

Re: opinions needed
I'm afraid roman shades are too hard for me. I'm not a very experienced sewing machine operator. The windows are not standard sizes & they are hard to buy stock stuff for so I thought making my own would be best. DH & I picked this fabric together a while ago but I could use something different. I like the idea of a rust color for the letters.

Re: opinions needed
What about just making a valance and buy ivory or white sheers for some privacy. And the letters might look very nice in a nice dark chocolate color to go with the baskets in the room.

Re: opinions needed
I would do the 'create' in a dark color - to match the boxes and the datrk in the fabirc
as for the shades - what you're saying sounds good, though you could make them a lot longer - full lehgth of the window, and also make ties to tie the up from the top to the bottom....fm me if I am confusing you and I will call you to go over it...its basically a simple roman shade.

Re: opinions needed
I would do CREATE in either bronze, gold or a color to match the baskets.
What a great room!
