Re: Are/Did you buy...

a mixture of B & C for us

Our dream house would cost millions in this NY market.. this is our first house and we did get the best house that's within our price range right now, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, formal dining room, living room, EIK, Den and a sun room, nice yard for my current "children" (aka my dogs) to run around in... great neighborhood and school district... when we have some human children and ready we'll upgrade... I would LOVE a victorian Chat Icon

Re: Are/Did you buy...

We bought a townhome so I think B is the best answer for us. It has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bath, with livingroom, dining room kitchen and eik area, It also has a utility room upstairs. We do have a backyard and a pattio too.

Eventually (about 5 years), we would like a home with more bedrooms (providing we have children to fill them) and more land.

Definitely C...we can't afford our dream home. But what we did buy is really nice for now and we can move up and out (we have plenty of property) if need be.
Not to say I don't like our house, I definitely do but the reality is that it's small and bigger would be nicer.

We are about B&C as well..

We would like to fix this house up and perhaps sell it or rent it in 5 years or so.. not sure but this is definently not my dream home and not the location either..

Re: Are/Did you buy...

It's between A and C for us. I didn't really want a cape but it is an ovesized cape and already has extensions and dormers. The reason it's closer to A is that it is on a double plot so our yard is very big which we really wanted and didn't think we could get.

We have the room to do anything we want to the house and yard and with 4 bedrooms (although one we mad a den) unless we have quadruplets as our first we feel we can stay here, and want to stay here forever.
