Do you think is a reasonable amount to chip in for a Bridal shower Gift when your A BM in a wedding??

I think that if you are chipping in for a gift the amount should be about $100.00. Bridesmaids these days have to pay sooo much money!!
125 is ok too. I didn't want my bridesmaids spending a lot of me - it's a huge expense to be a bridesmaid these days.

If its just a gift, $100 is enough. If you are paying for the shower too- then I think $50 max.
It is getting so out of hand these days with the costs of being a bridesmaid.

I've always chipped in $75-$100 for a joint gift. If I felt it was too little for whatever reason I would buy something additional. I think that price range is fair for bridemaids to spend. That way if someone only wants to spend that, fine, if they want to spend more, they still can.

I think $100 is generous for a joint gift. BMs have to shell out so much $$$ for weddings.
