is ALL seafood completey out?
DH wanted to go to the Soutside in Lindenhurst for dinner tonight. Is it just shellfish that is out or ALL seafood?

You can eat seafood. There are a few that aren't so good, but I don't remember what they are.

I've eaten shrimp, calamari and steamed crab legs during my pregnancy. Of course all in moderation. So to answer your question no, not all seafood is completely out.

Some of the fish and shellfish you can eat are shrimp, salmon, and cooked clams. Actually you can eat up to 12 onces of fish a week. It is recommended that you do not give up fish completely because pregnant women need the Omega3. There are certain fishes that you should not eat. My Dr. told me shellfish in moderation and to try and stay away from (but okay once in a while) the types that are higher in mercury (tuna, macrale, shark, salmon, swordfish, and uncooked fish as well)
