Bad Day
So... I am not feeling well. I am 8 weeks right now and I am coming down with a cold or a sinus infection. I find out at work today that the rumors are flying around that I am pregnant. That is because I didn't drink at a co-workers wedding. I am not ready to tell my bosses and my co-workers yet. I shouldn't have to, so I have been denying it.

I lied all the way to 13 weeks - even when asked directly if I was pregnant.
As for being sick - call your MD, each of them have a different protocol as to what medications you can take. Hang in there!! I was sick with a 103 fever during my 5th week - you can handle whatever is on your plate even though it doesn't feel like it at this moment.

Speak to your dr. about your cold/sinus infection.
As for work, they can MYOB. You'll tell them when you're good and ready. I just told them last week when I was 16w4d. People suspected, but I wasn't saying anything until I felt prepared to do so.

Thank you! I feel like I am the only that is not telling people. I am glad to know that other people waited to tell the world as well. What really bothers me is that everybody at the wedding was "friends" with me, they should have asked me and not just spread rumors. I guess I know I can't trust them.

I wouldn't look at it as you can't trust them, so much as people just LOVE to talk and a baby is such a happy event that people get excited before they know if there is something to be excited about.
