it still will take away from what the state gives you - as for your job if they offer maternity then thats a different story

That's not true. You are entitled to 20 weeks disability a year. The 6 you get after the birth count towards that, but if you are on bedrest for a medical reason before you give birth, it doesn't take away from that.

You can use your FMLA and it could also take away from your FMLA if you are entitled to it.

I was put on bedrest at 20 weeks when I got my cerclage put in, and I stayed on until I delivered at 37 weeks, it didn't take away from my maternity leave.. HTH

Did u get disability? Who do i talk to about getting the disability.

your doctor needs to complete the paperwork which you get from Human Resources at your company
