Can I show you what I made today?
OK - this was a rough draft, I wanted to see how it would come out. I think it came out half way decent and I think I finally got the technique down. What do you all think, and feel free to be honest  Image Attachment(s):

Thanks everyone. I plan on buying a fresh piece of wood and doing a final attempt next week. Hopefully it will come out even better next time around.

very cute, you did great. When I look at it in your avatar the center flower is hard to see, maybe in your final it should be more bold to balance with lettering.

Great point, I will try to make it bigger and use bolder/richer colors.
