zantac- those of you that take it
how often and how many Mg do you take? I take 75 twice a day. but i could use more...the HB is soo bad...

I tried it and it hasnt really worked for me. There isnt instant relief like when you take tums.

i usually take it in the monring at work by nine or ten - right after i finish eating breakfast and then again after lunch around 2. the funny thing is i never need to take it after dinner.

(I have GIRD and IBS) I have to take 120mg, 2x a day, but trying to only take it 1x a day in the afternoon.

so it is safe to take more than 75 twice a day, once in a while i need it, did u ask ur dr....i also had probs before i got preg and needed and endoscopy and never went, now its worse

I am under the care of my physician. I have had tons of tests done prior to getting preggo. They are watching the tissue of my esphagus near my stomach for damage. They don't want it to get worse. But I am trying to not take it 2 times a day, because I just don't feel comfortable with it.

yes i understyand, my mom has Barrots esoph which is most likely what your avaoiding by being on meds...doesnt HB just suck, i hate it....afetr i gove birth i have to go bac to the gastroenterologist and get and endoscopy, i hope im ok down there because ive had HB for years and let it go.....

Yeah, they are watching me for Barrots. Before I got tested I never had sypmtoms, I went to the GI dr because of tummy issues. They then dx me with IBS and GIRD. I am trying to control it now so I don't have to take the meds as much. But when I really feel it I take it. I have changed how I eat though and PRAY it does not get worse as I progress through pregnancy!
