how much had you progressed at your 36 wk appt?
my 36 week appointment is on tuesday and i'm praying for good news... 
how much had you progressed at that point?

My doc doesn't do internals until 38/39 wekks, so I have no idea. but I am assuming if I havent dropped at all, there isin't much going on.

I hadn't progressed when my doctor checked on the morning I went into labor. Don't drive yourself crazy, it doesn't mean anything!

My sister's dr. told her that she was 2 cm with her first baby and that she would go into labor that weekend. Well she didn't and a week and a 1/2 later she had to be induced.

my dr. started my internals at 36 weeks, i was 1 cm. but i am 39 weeks and nothing has changed ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

At my 36 week appointment, I was not dilated and not at all effaced.
In fact, at 2 days past my due date I was still not dilated or effaced. I had the baby 3 days after that, so it can happen fast!

No progression at all, baby had just dropped by then.
I had no progress until 39 wks when I was 1 cm dilated & then nothing

I didn't have any progression. The babies head was down, but it was not engaged. So at that point there was a chance that the baby could move up. Now I am 38 weeks and the babies head is down and engaged. I haven't had any other progression, but I am not worried, like other ladies said it can all happen very fast.

I was 2-3 cm at my 37 week internal, pretty much the same with my first as well.
