Back from doctor
I just got back. I was there on Monday too for more cramping. On monday I was 1 cm, 50% effaced. Tonight I was 2 cm, 60% effaced. I don't go back until Thursday. Doc told me to have sex in order to speed things up! It is such a man's world!

Christy - My doctor told me that on Tuesday. I ended up in L&D later that night due to severe upper abdomen pain (right above uterus) .. I think I injured myself  I told the doctor it was all his fault for suggesting such a thing this late in preganacy!!!

I don't even see how doing the deed at this point is even possible. Doctor suggested it because I am so umcomfortable due to baby's position. I can barely walk. My back still kills and the head is so low I feel like it is falling out. I am contracting, so he thinks this could speed things up. You have to be kidding me right!!!

So I take it this didn't put you into labor huh! OMG! That is awful. Are you more dialted at least?

I hope it works for you it didn't work for me.... I think they are all myths the baby comes when they are ready.
