Legal Help Please
Can someone help me.. we just buried my grandmother yesterday and my uncle is already in her home today (without my father) cleaning out the house.. Even before she died he took all the things that him and his family gave to her..... Is this legal? Can he just go in and take all her cloths, pictures, TV's without discussing with my father?
Of course my father doesn't say anything to him but I am about to call him up myself and say that our family will get a lawyer if he doesn't stop... Everything was left to my father and my uncle.. There are so many things that I want for sentimental value and I am afraid by the time I get there the place will be empty

Re: Legal Help Please
Did she have a will?
I think you need to contact an estate lawyer to help you with this.

Yes she had a will and everything went to both sons.. but I just don't understand how my uncle can go in there and take everything.. I was wondering if anyone on the boards is a lawyer that knows anything about this?
