Google logos
The Google logo is different today, in honor of Roald Dahl's birthday.
Until I clicked on the link and saw that he wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and James and the Giant Peach, I had no idea who he was.
So... Why do they change the logo for an author's birthday but had nothing for September 11th?
I wonder if this is because they don't acknowledge "bad" events. Only good ones.

My sister Erica used to date a guy named Eric- it was so Roald Dahl.

Hmmmm, I'm surprised at that!! Since it was Patriot Day I would think they'd have done something patriotic like they do for July 4th. I didn't even notice, I forget they do that for certain days.
I wouldn't have known who he was either. And I'm suprised they did it for an author, there are so many other days that they do nothing for.
