Address Change???
If you did not close yet, but know the approximate date- When did you fill out the paperwork at the Post Office to start forwarding the mail & advise Credit Cards, etc..
Would like to add, I am leaving for vacation Sept 20th -30th and then closing when I get back. Should I fill this stuff out now, before I leave for vaca?

You can put a date on the form of when you want the mail to start being forwarded.

You can do it online at usps.com I just did it and you can select the start date =O)
and remember that it's a change of address, not forward.

That's how I did it too. It takes about 2 minutes to fill out and you get a ton of coupon offers afterwards.

Yup! We did this, just so it was taken care of while we were in the process of moving.
