I NEED to VENT
why are "most" cops that I've dealt w/ azzholes??? I just called 112 precinct to ask when I can pick up a police report and get practically yelled at for calling. All I said was "Hi, I need to pick up a police report and I need to know when I come by?" Didn't even let me finish my sentence and goes into a whole lecture as to how I MUST pay $10 to get it. ARRGGHHH  I understand that it needs to be a check w/ proper ID. Don't be mad at me because your azz got stuck on desk duty!!!!!

I had an amusing experience in Nassau county. My car had been broken into in a park and I called the precinct to see if I could come into the precinct to file the report. The cop tells me it would be easier to go back to the park and wait for an officer to show up. I said, "easier for who?" I was not about to go wait alone after dark in the park, so I went into the precinct the next morning. There was one other civilian there, and about 6 cops. I heard one guy put someone on hold while he was checking out his lunch order from Subway. When he got on the phone again, he said "sorry, we are REALLY busy here...."

OMG is that the line they use??? When I called eralier this week to ask if it was ready, I was on hold for about 15 mins. and heard her entire conversation w/ her family and then said "oh, sorry it's really busy here". I said "wow, so I heard!!!! JERK!!!!!!

I know...I'm sorry I'm so Peed off right now...it makes me soo ANGRY!!!!! I need to get over it but you know what?? DH made me even more angry by saying I was only mad because my dad had to pay for the report....uhm ok.

That's too bad.
When things like this happen to me I try to put it in perspective by thinking that person's life must really sux because they have to take their anger and frustration out on me. Glad I'm not them... At least I TRY to think like that. IT doesn't always work.

I do this too, my mantra is "thank god this person is not a memeber of my family and I don't have to deal with them on a regular basis...."

Ok, now I'm really annoyed. My friend's FH is NYPD and he called the precinct to have the police report faxed to my office. The cop at the precinct tells him my dad had just picked it up. I called my dad and he never picked up the report. So, he lied!!!!!
