........ memorialize 9/11 Do you do something every year specifically to remember?

One thing DH and I always do is watch the "In Memoriam" dvd. The one with Guliani in it. It really brings me right back to that day. It's awful rehashing it but I feel like it needs to be remembered.

I usually visit the websites that are out there that memoralize all the victims. just to know more about them.

A few months ago I had signed a guest book...
Quick story...


I was in nyc a few weeks after it happened and took pictures of the different memorials in Penn Station... And one picutre stood out. A firefighter holding a small child. His name was written underneath, and I googled him and found his guestbook. His sister contacted me and said thank you for thinking of him. He was holding his only daughter in the picture. I always go back to the pictures I took. But this one is just so beautiful. So I am definitely thinking of this firefighter and his family.

Honestly, I just kiss (DH) him and thank God that nothing happened to him that day. We don't do much on that day; we lay low....and I always say a prayer for those who lost loved ones.
