How did you find your house?
Did you find it on MLS? Or use a realtor? Or find it in the newspaper? Just curious how you all located your house.

houlihanlawrence.com, the Westchester/Putnam equivalent of MLSLI- we were living in Queens and driving around wasn't convenient for us.

Our realtor found it for us.
same here. I didn't see it on MLS and I always said I didn't want this kind of house... but then I fell in love with it... i had another bid on another house, but I took it back!

Used MLSLI and other sites and realtors like it was my job.
Ultimately found it driving around.

Ours was not listed with MLS it was on realtor.com but never appeared in my searches. My real estate agent found it for us.

we were working with a realtor who did crap and showed us crap.
Mike was on MLSLI one day looking at the open house listing and I came to the open house. So we found it on MLSLI and use their agent.

We worked with a realtor in Manorville. He was awesome. We found this house after looking for 10 months on the first day we met him.

We hated out realtor so one weekend I just circled a whole bunch of open houses in the area we wanted and off we went. The 4th house we saw was the one we bought.

After Danielle and I decided to not look for houses, i received an email from a realtor advertising the house that we bought. The price was really good. So we drove by to take a look and the house looked really nice. We called the realtor that was selling the house and she agreed to show us that house and another house that we liked. We looked at the other house first but didnt like it and then looked at this house and really liked it.
We brought Danielles father back the next day and he suggested that we bid on it. So I put a bid on it and the realtor said they were only taking offers after the first open house on sunday and will decide who's bid the seller will accept. Well they got 12 bids and the realtor called me on tuesday to let me know our bid got accepted. I almost fell off the chair

I found ours on MLSLI, showed it to my realtor, she took us to see it and the rest was history... I fell in love the minute we pulled up to the house

A friend was driving by and saw the house and told us about it. We then called the relator that had it listed.
