Went to ER for some bleeding this morning

I have complete previa, so they said if I was to bleed to go straight to the hospital. Well at 3am I went to pee, and I usually pee in the dark. I went back to bed and felt a warm gush. I checked and I was bleeding. There was also blood in the toilet which I didn't see at the time.
So I woke Dh and had him take me to the hospital. They sent me up to L&D to monitor me. I was having contractions that I wasn't feeling. So they monitored me until my doc (actually it was the partner of my doc) came to check on me. So around 8am I was sent home since I was only having 3 contractions the last hour.
I'm not on bed rest right now, but she said if I bleed again, they'll probably keep me in the hospital. But I can't travel so I'm going to have to cancel my NY shower. I was so looking forward to it. We'll just move it to here, and whoever can make it will make it.

sorry you're having a tough time - i've done the L&D thing too, it's no fun at all. hope you feel better
