Re: If you own a townhome...
my brother has one in delray- I will get the square footage for you
it's has 2 master bedrooms on the top floor- each with a bath
second floor- kicthen, full bath and "den"- which could be a bedroom- but he is making it into a dining room
and there is an area off the kitchen
1st level- huge living room, 1/2 bath and 2 car garage
it's at least 2500 square feet- but it's a lot of steps

We have three floors up and down...basement on bottom and then two living floors...each one is 650 sf. Three bedrooms on the top floor and two full baths. Middle level has the kitchen, dining area, living room and half bath. Lower level is basement with laundry room.

Re: If you own a townhome...
Thanks!
We're looking at townhomes here in FL that are between 1,500 and 2,000 sq feet 3 bed/2 bath/1 car garages. Just getting an idea of what a good size townhome is.

Re: If you own a townhome...
The townhouse we just sold was about 1600 sq ft. It was 2 BR, 2.5 baths and it also had a very large 3rd floor loft that we used as an office/exercise room. It was a good size, but it didn't have a basement or garage so we got cramped quickly after my DS was born. We did have a huge walk in attic that was great for storage, but if it had a garage or basement I think we would have been able to stay longer after my DS was born.
