Back from Doctor-37 wk visit

Back from Doctor-37 wk visit
Had my strep b and first internal tonight. Doctor says I am a fingertip dialated and 50% effaced. He asked if I was having a lot of discharge, and I said yes. Next thing I know I am on the fetal monitor (I was having contractions though I had no idea). Then my doc wanted to do a sono to make sure my fluid level was good. Baby is weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz and everything looks good. I wonder if I will make anymore progress before next week's visit. The back pain is the worst!

Can you believe that its September already????? I keep seeing all these September Mommies having our babies and seems like just yesterday we were all new to the boards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you are doing great. I just went for my 37 week appointment and I am not dilated at all. You are definitely making progress.
