my firm is going to HATE me
I just got back from my honeymoon (gone for three weeks)... Today I got a summons for jury duty for the end of the month. 
Good news is that I'm a lawyer and work for a big firm. No one wants me on their jury and I have WAY too many conflicts of interest.
On the other hand, though, I've always wanted to be on a jury... but it'll never happen.

SAME thing happened to me! I got back from my HM, went on a 3 day business trip then like 2 weeks later I had jury duty. I did get selected for a case and so I was out the full week.

I was supposed to report for jury duty the day before my wedding. I had to postpone it. Imagine that being trapped on a jury the day I was getting married.
