i give up!!!
so i saw the doctor last nite for my reg. visit. My cankles and hands have been swollen for some time now but over the past 2 weeks they've gotten worse. Anyway I gained 9LBS in 2 weeks!!!! this has become INSANE. My diabetes #s are fine. I go for a sono and nonstress test on Friday a.m. The doctor also wants me to return on Friday (3 days later so they can monitor my bloodpressure and urine protein). Why can't i get a break??? i'm doing everything i'm supposed to do.

I cut out salt when i had swelling, and i havent had swelling since.

Maggie,
I am so sorry that you are having such a horrible time! Just think that it is almost over and in the end you will have this beautiful baby!
I know it is hard! My hands are killing me and the diabetes is all out of wack! Dr. Rosen just shakes his head at me!

try to hang in there, I know it's tough. I recently have been swelling up too, especially my feet for the 1st time in this pregnancy.
My fingers look like sausages when I go out in the heat. I try to watch my salt intake and drink water.

i'm so sorry you're having a tough time...
for what it's worth, i am a miserable preggo too, i feel your pain...
the vast majority of that weight gain is water - it will go away after you give birth, i promise!!
hang in there. we've got LESS than 6 weeks left to go... it will go by fast.
