Re: Has anyone ever have an EEG?

Yes.....I had one after fracturing my sternum in a serious car accident........they were afraid my sternum may have compressed my heart.

They hook up little sticky pads to your chest, which hook to wires to the machine. No pain, no big deal!!Chat Icon

Re: Has anyone ever have an EEG?

I had one..its to rule several things out--it is to see how your brain responds to things and if u get silent seizures and what not.
It is easy,
the most annoying part is your hair. Ypu cannot go to work until after u shower, They attach all these electrodes with goop in your hair.
I also faintly recall some lights--my having to respond to certain things. It is completely painless-just messy
