Motherhood Maternity

I went for the first time today and I just have to say...they have the WORST retun policy. it makes me not want to buy anything there. You can only exchange within 10 days of purchase. No refunds. I would think PG women might need to retun after 10 days given that you often buy things that don't fit now and you don't know if they will fit in the future! And, I got a belly sleeve and that was final sale. What if I find it doesn't work for me. Argh! Chat Icon

Rant over!

Re: Motherhood Maternity

The return policy is exactly the reason I never went back there. If I am unhappy with the clothing so much that I want to return it, why would I want to spend more $$ there on a store credit?

Yeah, but I don't think you can return it to the store. So you have to pay to ship it back.
I don't like the quality of their pants, so I think i am done with shopping there.

I went to three separate Motherhood stores to find pants. Nothing crazy, just a couple of pairs of black dress pants for work. Even their petite sizes were about 3" too long for me and I'm 5'2". I'll just have to order from Gap Maternity. It was discouraging.

It's like that for Mimi too. Chat Icon And sale stuff is final sale.

It seems like everything I buy there is final sale. I'm not a huge fan either.

Yeah, their return policy stinks. Macy's carries some of their clothing though, and they have to follow the Macy's return policy which is much better. If you saw something you liked, you might want to try Macy's.

I bought a couple things from them this weekend, but mainly because it was convenient. Definitely try everything on and make sure it fits well before buying.

If you check, your Macy's receipt is stamped with the return policy on it. They do NOT in any way follow Macy's return policy.

ETA: That is why I try to stick with Kohls and Target. Much better return policies.
