Prenatal vitiamins and directions on how to use
Does everyone follow the directions to a T on how to take these? Mine say to take on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals and not to lay down for a half hour after taking. The kind I have come with 2 pills...an AM and a PM pill....i'm hungry 24/7 so it's a pain in the a** to follow directions but I also want them to work.

I take mine w/ dinner because I get nauseous when I take them on an empty stomach.

i take them when ever its convienent for me! Every morning 1st thing. If I forget, I take it when I remember. I didn't think it mattered

Thanks guys. I never really take them at the same time. I was trying to always take them on an empty stomach but i'm not going to worry about it...i'll just take 1 before I go to bed and the other when I wake up.

I think mine say to take after a meal. I take one after dinner.
Maybe your doc can prescribe a different brand, one with more flexible directions?

I didn't take mine at all after about 12 weeks. BUT my doctor was ok with it b/c I had such severe hyperemesis.

Mine made me a little nausous so I had to experiment to find the right balance. I take one (I have the 2 a day kind) about 20 minutes after breakfast and one right before I got to bed so its probably about 3 hours after dinner.
You dont have to follow the directions to a T, find what works for you.

I was taking it to a T 1 hour before breakfast. But once I got preggo and was starving in the morning, that went out the window. My OB/Gyn said take it when it's convenient.
