I think I am going to be very sad when.......
when the baby is here but I no longer feel him kicking on the inside. It has been a rough pregnancy but I love feeling his kicks. It is funny that I love those kicks but if he gets too crazy, I get out of breath. I really do think that I will feel "empty" when he is on the outside. I wonder if missing that contributes to the feelings of depression that new moms get.

That's the only thing I missed from the pregnancy.
I really just saw it as the meaning to an end.
I enjoy it so much now that DS is here.

i too have had a very difficult pregnancy, but i do think that i will miss feeling DS kicking me and rolling around... come to think of it, that's the ONLY thing i will miss!

Just thinking about feeling the baby kick makes me smile. I miss that from pregnancy....and I had a crappy pregnancy (morning sickness almost 24/7 from about 14 weeks-delivery)
But having my DS here is so amazing

This is funny. I will wake at night sometimes thinking "oh, the baby kicked me", but it was just something moving around in there. And my daughter is 9 weeks old and I'm still not used to it, obviously

That's true! At night when I can't sleep and I am uncomfortable, I feel baby move and it makes everything better. I love feeling baby move around, it is awesome!

I agree with you ladies, I love to feel him moving around. It always makes me smile and giggle. I definitely will miss it too!

I truly believe they are dancing and they think they are at a night club. It's a crazy scenario I made up in my head, complete with disco lights in my tummy. I'm a wacko!!!!

I agree. I am even going to miss the belly, I really am. I am still loving being PG except the GD diet and glucose testing. If it wasnt for that part, I could go another month easily.
