at 20wks how big were you?
This is me at 6wks
and now at 11 weeks
I have an event to go to and I am trying to get an idea of what I will wear and if I can get away with a regular dress in maybe a looser cut.

It's hard to say, at 20 weeks you will likely have more of a stomach. You can look for an empire cut dress or a dress that wraps and ties in the front. That would give you extra room for your stomach.
I wear a lot of non-maternity empire style tops at 27 weeks, and still fit me just fine.

that is what I am hoping I can do. Right now I wear mostly loose tops (I don't mind the pregnancy gains at all), but I feel like, right now, to others I just look like I am getting fat, not pregnant.
I really want to start looking, because things will get nuts as we get closer to moving but I guess I might have to wait 1 more month?

i have all my belly pics in my album too. i really "popped" somewhere between 17 and 22 weeks, but i could have gotten away with an empire style dress. i would go with something like that.

I popped out too around 17 weeks. Now at 20 there is no doubt that I am pregnant. Someone at work asked if I was having Twins today!! (I'm not)

You're really tiny so it's hard to tell. My stomach was pretty big & round by 20 weeks but I was still able to wear non-maternity stuff (just in a med or large instead of small sizes).

I think you could get away with just a larger size empire waist style.

I was about the same size as your pre PG.size. At 19 weeks I've gained 7 lb.s.
It's hard to tell, but I agree that an Empire style, non maternity dress will probably work best.

Its hard to say. I gained no weight and was still wearing regular work clothes at 11 weeks, but at 17 weeks I popped and my belly came out quickly.
I would wait a few more weeks to decide on a dress.
