i got most of my basic stuff from BRU, and then got some fancier stuff from a baby boutique in NC where i live.
but i concentrated mostly on the basics, and went with cute but inexpensive stuff. i resisted buying the $75 set of burp cloths, since they will soon be collecting my baby's vomit!!

I got a ton of Carters stuff because everything seems to mix and match, they are basic and that's all I need to start. I got a few designer outfits but she's really not ready for that just yet.

I actually don't have that much. I only got a few things at my shower. Out of the things that i did get, I think I like the quality of the Carter's stuff and Absorba the best. The Absorba stuff seems really nice and thick, comfy cotton. They have it at BBB and probably a lot of other places. Since we are not finding out the sex I think I will be doing most of the buying afterwards.
