a question if i do have the iui tomorrow

after you have had an iui has it stopped you from going on with your daily routine? i read on the paper there is a chance for minor bleeding and cramping. my husbands fire house is having their beach outing tomorrow and if i have the iui im not sure if i should go. i would be sitting down really, no swimming or anything like that. i just dont know if its an experience where after you feel pretty crappy or you get a little twinge of pain but its nothing.
can you tell im a little bit of a hypocondriac

I am sure everyone is different. Any staining I had was old blood (sorry TMI) and it did not last very long. I worked out but did low impact stuff and stayed away from abdominal exercises. As far as discomfort, it can depend on how heavy handed your doctor can be. I have had IUIs with three different doctors in one practice and they all work differently.

I had no problems after my iUI's. Both times I had very busy days afterwards....no issues!

I usually took the rest of the day off and went to work the next day. But they always say you can go right to work if you'd like to.

no problems for me (I had it today). very, very minor cramping but that's it! good luck!
