Dyson?
I was thinking of buying a Dyson all-floors, and was wondering how they where. If you have one, what model Dyson do you have. Thanks!!

I have the Animal (the purple one) I LOVE this thing. I picks up everything. It is on the heavier size but still worth it. It came with carpet cleaner, carpet refresher and all other cleaning things. I use it everyday and am amazed at all the stuff it still picks up. Get one.

My mom has the animal and another one (she has a vaccuum on all levels of the house...lol). She really likes it. I have a dyson too, not sure which model it is, but no complaints.

I have a yellow Dyson, the original 07 model. I love it! Most of my house is hardwood, but I have a ton of area rugs and other floor finishes and I love how it picks up everything.

What kind of flooring do you have through out your house?
In my apartment we have all hard wood and some area rugs. When we get a house, I most likely will have hard wood floors. I am not a carpet person.

Okay I would suggest the all new DC21. Do you like Canisters?

Ditto on the yellow one, we got it when they first came out. I use it in every room. Carpet, linoleum, tile. Love it.

I have the DC07 as well, I looooooooovvvvvvvvvveee it. I was using my mothers at her house and it is an orek and it sucks compared to the dyson...

I aways suggest to my customers if you have wood floors go with a vacuum with rubber wheels. Plastic wheels scratches...

Consumer Reports ranks the Dyson all-floors as 17th in their list. Only "good" for carpets, cleaning with tools, noise and handling. Rated "excellent" for emissions and bare floors. Rated "poor" for pet hair.
For half the price, or less, you can get a Hoover, Kenmore or Eureka that also has "excellent" rating for bare floor, but also "excellent" for carpet and pet hair.
