Putting in hardwood floors yourself
Have you put hardwoods down in your house yourself insread of hiring someone. How hard was it? Where did you find the best deal on the wood?

DH did. pics in album. we bought pre-finished hardwoods from home depot. it was $2.99 psf.

Bruce Hardwoods. Its usually on sale at Home Depot
eta: DH also rented the nail gun at HD too - you need a special nail gun.

We did it ourselves. It took a whole weekend, but wasn't too bad. We also rented the gun at HD.
