Is it true that you must escrow your taxes if you're not putting 20% down?

Depends on the product. We're not putting 20% down and we're not escrowing.

We put 5% down and didn't have to escrow. It really depends on what the bank requires.

We put down 10% and didn't escrow taxes. We used citibank.
