I need help getting comfortable!
I keep waking up on my back in the middle of the night (which is freaking me out bc I know that is bad). I think it's bc sleeping on my side is just not comfortable anymore!
What do you recommend to make side sleeping better? Should I get a full body pillow? I want something I can use till the end!
Thanks!

I know not everyone likes it but I have been using the snoogle since 6 mos and now at 39wks plus it is still a huge help! I really like it and have found it very comfortable. It also helps with preventing you from fully laying on your back if you position it right. Good luck

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I could never get comfortable with the snoogle-but thats just me. I just line my bed with pillows on my side-hubby loves it-lol. Although now the baby's "wake" time is the midle of the night so I wake up to he/she kicking me all night...and having to pee...

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I was told by my dr. that I could continue to sleep on my back as long as I was comfy.
I will say I prop myself up with 2 pillows but that is more because of heartburn then anything.
When I sleep on my side, I have a pillow under my knee and I have 2 pillows by my head, however I can't stay that way even if I tried, I am most comfortable on my back.
I have heard the body pillows are helpful though....

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
can you put stuff behind your back so you cant turn over...either a pillow or the bunched up blankets? Thats what I do. Not to mention lately I've been snoring if I end up on my back so it wakes me up anyway!!!

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I wish I could help you but I've been going through the same thing my entire pregnancy. I was a big back sleeper to begin with and it was so hard (and still is) for me to sleep on my side...no matter where I position myself I end up on my back...4 more weeks to go and my husband inherits my snoogle and I will feel FREE!

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I bought the snoogle on friday because I kept having the same problem. I would fall asleep on my side but always wake up on my back. The snoogle goes up and down your entire back. One end can rest in between your legs and the other end goes under your head as a pillow. Ive used it all weekend, and so far so good. If anything the extra padding on my back is a relief. It also helped with my congestion.

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I love my snoogle but I also sleep on my back a lot... I did with my 1st PG too, I honestly don't think it's as bad as you think it is

Re: I need help getting comfortable!
I was having the same problem--the hip I'm laying on tends to get painful at some point in the night. So I would wake up on my back, and I've never been a back sleeper.
I bought a full body pillow, and I think it has helped a great deal! I thought about a snoogle, but they are pricey, and the place I was looking at didn't have any in stock, so I tried the body pillow. It's helping me a lot--still some hip pain sometimes, but not as bad.
