remember my complaint about my friends???
Well, now all of a sudden people are realizing that they have not seen me and they are coming out of the woodwork to try to make plans. I am not having a shower, so they can't just see me then, but I never said that I was having one.
We are behind on getting ready for baby b/c I was sick with my heart thing, plus I am self employed and have to get my office ready for my time away. Am I a ***** to be annoyed that people expect me to be available during the final weeks of my pregnancy? I was not exactly well enough to do a lot during the earlier weeks but I would have been ecstatic if they offered to come visit!! Plus, it is clear that they now want a social visit or dinner out, not to help me get ready!

 If they want to see you, can't they come to you? (if you want to see them that is)

Sure, but I have a laundry list of things I have to get done, and I feel that I now need to be productive whenever I am up to it. We have to do so much to get ready, I am behind on everything and I have a medical complication that limits the amount of time and energy I have. My friends just want to do a fun dinner or a BBQ but my time is limited in ways that it wasnlt a few months ago.
