What type of language is Tagalog????
I am looking over IEP's and a student I'll e consulting on has that written as her native language...

Language of the Philippines.
It also has many derivatives of the Spanish language from the Spanish settlers/influx in the 1800’s (I wrote a paper on the language policy in the Phillipines for a grad class  )
