Is this legit?
Actually, wait- has anyone actually done this?
I really think I know exactly what check they have for me, and it is my old insurance company...
But before I mail out my social security #, I want to run it by you guys.

I have some unclaimed $$ from renters ins. dating back to my first apt. I have to prove that I lived there.Yeah that was years ago....
It's real and I know people that actually got their$$!

It's definitely legit. The link you posted is also to the New York State government's website.
You shouldnt' have to pay anything to get the funds that are yours. You need to supply the info the requested.
You'll also need a notary.

Definitely legit. My mom researched this for me and it turned out I had over 300 uncollected from a previous employer and I got the money back. I didn't even know it was missing.

I have some funds from an old employer on there. I got the form notarized a few weeks back but have yet to mail in the form. I am so bad.
