We cannot agree on a girl's name......
We are naming baby boy after my father & FIL James Charles.
We have a few girl's names but my DH likes Francesca and Eva.
I like Clair, Catherine, Grace, Allison, Kristen...
Our last name is VERY Italian!
Since James is not very ethnic, I think we should go with a non-ethnic name for the Girl.
We are stuck! It is almost laughable that we cannot agree on a name!

I am in the same boat. Dh and I are struggling with girl names. We are down to Eva, Isabella and Gianna. It is so tough!

We are in the exact same boat. Boy will be named after my father and his father, but girl names 
We had finally agreed on a name when he all of a sudden  found out his friend's dog had the name we picked for a girl. Now the name is out.

do you have a letter that you'd like it to start with? maybe that will help us give you some suggestions...

When we were looking for names, I started to look at lists that gave the meanings along side the names. Then it became really interesting to find a name that sounded nice and had a meaning that we liked.

it was weird though--I obsessed on the boy names..I think I knew I was having two boys.
Does he like Ava? it goes great with very italian last name

We're not TTC, but pretty much know what we'll want - I'm no help because our girl's name will probably be Francesca (Frankie) with middle name Grace or Claire! 
But other names we've talked about are Catherine and Sydney.
I come from a big Italian family and some of the women's names are Maddelena, Rose, Teresa, Felicia...
I've always liked Maddelena and it shortens nicely to Maddie which is kind of trendy right now anyway. Elena is another name that's traditional, but doesn't sound too ethnic.

I love Eva and we were very close to naming DD that except that DS's godfather's fiance has that name and we are not really sure if they are gonna actually get married. So I didn't want DD to have a name that might remind him of her.
I also like Clair. Don't feel bad about not having a name. We had a name picked out for DD up until about a 37 weeks and then we were undecided. She came out and we still didn't know. We ended up naming her what *I* orginally picked out but with DH's spelling choice.

We had the same problem - which is one of the reasons I knew I was having a girl!
The boy's name was picked out in minutes (my husband's name), but the girl's name wasn't final until I was holding her in my arms! We had a ton of options, and we liked them all, so we decided to wait until we met her to choose.
And I actually came up with the idea to name her Lily about a week before she was born, and didn't think of Lily Anne until I was in labor!

I really like either Allison or Kristen. I would have considered Allison for my own baby girl, but DH's niece already has that name!

We were the opposite actually, couldn't agree on a boys name so I'm no help. I will say it's hard though, I used to get so frustrated because literally everything I threw out there, he hated Good luck, you will agree soon!
