Re: Rx Blood factor
Yes I do next week. My dr. said it isnt a big deal though and not to stress over it. He said getting it cleared thru insurance is the worse part of it.

Re: Rx Blood factor
I had it, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. It was really painless and took about 30 seconds. I had no side effects and there were no risks associated. Don't stress about it...

Re: Rx Blood factor
I was told by my doctor at my last appt that I'm going to have to get it done. He said it wasn't a big deal.

I had it four times and it wasn't nearly as bad as the IV during labor!

Its actually Rh, and yes I had to get it since my blood type is A- and John is A+. Its such a fine needle you really dont feel it. It hurts more to give blood.
I got it at 28 weeks and then again after my son was born. He has my hubbys blood type. I also had it with my first m/c

Re: Rx Blood factor
I just found out last night I am RH Negative. I was under the impression it was a normal shot in the arm...at least that's what I was told. Is it something different...everyone is saying it's painful?

Some docs do it in the butt rather than the arm. I had it both ways. The butt was 1000 times worse than the arm.
