painting a crib?
i know this is a dumb question...but someone wants to give us a crib that they have...heres the problem i wanted a white crib but this is oak...can i paint the crib??

You could, bu tit might be very hard cause you would have to sand it first. All those slats can be annoying.

It's doable. You would need to do a light sanding first so the paint adheres to the crib. Especially if it is a varnished finish.
You also need to make sure that the pain is not a "toxic" paint. Baby do put their mouth on all the edges of the crib.

I would not paint a crib unless maybe a professional did it. Even with that, you don't know if they will adhere to safety guidelines.
I would do some more research first
