I refer to the What to Expect Series Book---The First Year. I use it so often it has become a permanent fixture on our coffee table!

Definitely The Happiest Baby on the Block ( he also has a DVD which is a lot faster than reading the book)
We have Your Baby's First Year Week by Week.
