when you have "inside information" on a topic...
should you NOT post in that thread?
if you or someone close to you is "on the inside" of a topic, should you let others speak their mind or should you give an "insider's" perspective?

It depends on what inside information I had.
If I was friends with the OP & knew more about the situation than she was posting, I would FM, call the OP or post my opinon w/o the inside info (because I'm sure it's not supposed to be shared).
If I knew the other side to a person's story, I would play devil's advocate or leave the post alone unless I felt strongly about it.

It depends. A lot of time people ask about car stuff & I'll ask DH (he is a mechanic for 13 years) b/c I hate it when people get ripped off.......
