Well, I am not the best at this type of thing but it seems like no one else is available to help right now...
Randella helped me a lot last year with my cover letters.

Here are the changes I would make. (keep in mind I am a scientist, not a writer so the punctuation might not be correct)

Dear Ms. XXX,

I am writing to express my interest in and enthusiasm for the position of Receptionist. I was referred to Xxxxx Company by Jennifer Xxxxxx.

If given the opportunity to be a part of your organization, I am confident I'd be able to contribute to its success. My background and experiences in customer service along with my strong commitment to quality and knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations would make me a valuable addition to XXXX Company. For more information on my qualifications and work experience, please refer to my attached resume.

I am available for an interview at your convenience. You may contact me at 609-XXX-XXXX. I look forward to hearing from you..
